The deployment of HarfangLab EDR and Hexanet’s managed SOC went smoothly. Despite Adapei’s small IT team, the project was able to move forward quickly thanks to the involvement of the Hexanet teams and their ability to adapt to the technical constraints of Adapei.
The initial procedures were adjusted to suit the context of Adapei. A mass deployment method was then implemented, without friction or interruption for users. Within a week, nearly 70% of the IT fleet was protected. Within a few more weeks, all workstations and servers were covered.
Support is ongoing. The Hexanet SOC provides continuous monitoring and regular communication via a dedicated channel. The teams are available on a daily basis and organize monthly meetings to share alerts, analyze events, and adjust security rules.
“The protection now covers all of our workstations and servers, in a way that is completely transparent to users. We can see that our workspace is being properly monitored, with regular exchanges with the Hexanet SOC, which increases our level of confidence.”

“The deployment of HarfangLab’s EDR and EPP was carried out gradually, initially via a POC to define the agent installation procedure. It had to be adapted to take into account Adapei’s context, particularly the uninstallation of the previously installed EDR and EPP solution.
Once this process had been defined and tested, a larger-scale deployment procedure could be defined, and the learning process could begin in a completely transparent manner for users. Specific attention was paid to critical servers to ensure that no blockages would impact the workspace.
Monthly meetings and numerous exchanges between the Adapei deployment team and Hexanet’s SOC team enabled effective monitoring of this crucial stage in the implementation of the HarfangLab’s platform. A new stage is currently being finalized based on the same principle, with the implementation of USB port control via EPP on a facility-by-facility basis.
