HarfangLab has developed a suite of cybersecurity solutions designed to prevent, detect, and neutralise cyberattacks. In 2018, the company’s founders combined their extensive expertise to create an Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tool to detect and block attacks on servers and workstations. It was the first EDR to be certified by ANSSI (French Cybersecurity Agency).

In just three years, HarfangLab’s workforce has nearly tripled, with the majority of its team members coming from technical backgrounds.

Driven by a strong sense of teamwork and global ambitions, HarfangLab continues to grow while staying true to its mission: to protect organisations from increasingly sophisticated cyber threats while ensuring that customers maintain full control over their data.

Our values

At HarfangLab, we embrace a collaborative culture built on
trust, mutual respect, and openness. Our actions are guided by 4 key values:

Humility

We value the ability to listen, consider diverse perspectives, and seek help when needed.
Self-reflection and openness to giving and receiving constructive feedback are also at the core of our beliefs.

A sense of responsibility

Trust and autonomy are the cornerstones of our working relationships.
In practice, this means empowering employees with the freedom to organise their work, take initiatives, and lead cross-functional projects.

Precision

Behind our cutting-edge technology lies the dedication of our team.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards, with attention to detail and a commitment to excellence permeating every aspect of our work and business.

Team spirit

Collaboration and mutual support are at the heart of what we do.
We believe that achieving our goals requires teamwork, and every employee takes pride in contributing their expertise and recognizing the value of collective efforts.

Our CSR commitments

Ecovadis

As a business, we also have a role to play in promoting social and environmental responsibility.

Each year, we assess our efforts annually using the Ecovadis platform, a trusted benchmark for evaluating corporate social and environmental performance.
Recently, we were awarded the ‘Committed Company’ badge and we aim to make strategic investments every year in order to constantly improve our score.

Here’s just a few of the real-world applications of our CSR efforts:

Our offices are equipped with systems to reduce water and electricity use and are fully accessible to individuals with disabilities

We prioritise procurement from local brands and of refurbished equipment

Employee welfare programs: flexible work arrangements, support for physical health and mental health

A Cefcys member (The Circle of Women in Cybersecurity), to promote the inclusion of women in the cybersecurity industry

When it comes to product development, we endeavour to minimise our carbon footprint by developing our solution in RUST and we use hypervisors to pool our cloud stacks and cut resource consumption

Application advice

Use the CAR method for a clear and impactful CV.

  • C for Context: outline your role and team within each organization
  • A for Action: explain specifically what you did to fulfill your role and highlight the tools and skills you used
  • R for Results: share your achievements at each company. Remember to include key figures or success metrics that show the impact of your work

An interview is a two-way conversation. We want to learn about you, and you want to learn about us. We encourage you to present your career path and your professional aspirations, and feel free to ask your own questions!

Prepare for the interview by looking at our website, our social media pages, press articles talking about us, and by checking out Welcome To The Jungle to get a better feel for our work and culture.

Each interview is an opportunity for both of us to ask questions. The goal is to get to know one another and see how we will work together.

Present your job history in a factual, structured, and concise manner.

Here’s an idea to help you out: the STAR method. It allows you to highlight the assets you are showcasing with concrete examples and to lend more weight to your pitch.

  • S for Situation (describe the context)
  • T for Task (explain the goal)
  • A for Action (detail what you did)
  • R for Results (present the results achieved)

The case study is intended to evaluate your technical skills and help you get an idea of the position you are applying for. We will also be assessing your professionalism and drive through your ability to deliver high-quality work on time.

Remember what matters is not only the quality of your answers, but also your ability to explain your approach and reasoning.
