As a global operator, Orange maintains a highly heterogeneous IT infrastructure composed of diverse operating systems and endpoint configurations. In terms of servers, 80% of its infrastructure consists of Linux terminals, with the rest running Windows.

At the initiative of senior management, the entire group – whose entities previously managed their cybersecurity independently – has deployed EDR solutions.

Orange needed a trusted platform to protect its most sensitive equipment. 

Performance, ease of console management, and data richness and transparency for tracking security events were key factors that led Orange to choose HarfangLab after extensive testing across the SOC, CERT, Information System, and Deployment teams.

HarfangLab’s deployment began during the 2024 Paris Olympics to protect critical and vital equipment.

The platform covers tens of thousands of endpoints worldwide and is being rolled out in stages. It is monitored by the Orange Group Security Department project team, which is responsible for promoting the platform across various global entities. This long-term initiative is supported by senior management.

HarfangLab’s deployment project empowered Orange teams to identify areas for improvement and harmonize internal security practices.
