Certification by the German Federal Office for Information Security confirms the performance and robustness of HarfangLab’s platform.
Performance and robustness confirmed by the BSI
After being the first EDR to obtain CSPN certification from ANSSI, HarfangLab is the first EDR to obtain BSZ (Beschleunigte Sicherheitszertifizierun) certification from the German BSI.
The BSZ certification issued in 2025 confirms the platform’s level of security.
This recognition confirms the reliability of the development methods and the security of the technologies, placing HarfangLab at the forefront of the European cybersecurity market at a time when performance and certifications are among the key selection criteria for European companies.
“Trust and performance are essential in security solutions when faced with today’s threats. HarfangLab was designed from the outset based on performance, transparency, and respect for our customers’ autonomy. In our vision of cybersecurity, performance and trust go hand in hand. Obtaining BSI certification for our EDR proves our commitment to the strictest security standards and strengthens our customers’ trust.
This market-leading initiative, which provides our partners and customers with proof of our ongoing commitment to the highest security requirements, aims to raise the level of excellence in cybersecurity for all.”

BSI certification: a new marker of trust for workplace security
Strategic autonomy and resilience in cybersecurity are crucial in a shifting geopolitical context. The development of robust, effective, and trusted expertise and solutions is therefore essential.
Certifications and qualifications issued by national cybersecurity agencies such as the BSI are a real guarantee of reliability and security. They attest to compliance with security standards and are required for environments and systems subject to stringent regulation.
More than just a stamp of approval, BSI certification reflects our commitment to technological excellence, a commitment validated by an independent authority.
What is BSZ (Beschleunigte Sicherheitszertifizierung)?
The BSI’s Beschleunigte Sicherheitszertifizierung (BSZ) certification is a streamlined but nonetheless demanding approach to the certification of digital solutions. It includes a series of extensive tests designed to assess the ability of digital solutions to withstand attacks.
To obtain BSZ certification, the BSI issues a set of specifications with which the evaluated solution must comply.
The publisher must also provide detailed documentation on the development conditions of its solution and information on the product itself, and is subject to technical tests, including compliance tests, penetration tests, and vulnerability assessments.
The audit is conducted by an independent body and then validated by the BSI, certifying compliance with the highest security requirements on the German market.
“BSZ certification involves compliance with very high security standards that must be consistently met over time. These standards cover multiple aspects of the solution: control and traceability of integrated open-source components, cryptographic capabilities, and the quality and accuracy of user documentation to ensure safe use of the solution.
This certification aims to evaluate not only the security level of the platform, but also all the processes and practices put in place to ensure long-term robustness.”
