Unified cybersecurity: HarfangLab integrates Attack Surface Management (ASM) into its endpoint security platform

As the number of threats, vulnerabilities, and even security solutions continue to multiply, CISOs are facing an uphill battle to secure their organizations. HarfangLab is once again addressing these challenges by simplifying the daily work of cybersecurity teams. Today HarfangLab announces the launch of Scout, a new Attack Surface Management solution that natively integrates into its industry-leading security platform. Leveraging a single agent installed on the endpoint, Scout delivers proactive endpoint monitoring and stops threats before attacks strike.

Introduction of HarfangLab endpoint security platform

Visualizing the invisible: observability tools

Scout meets the challenges that SOC and VOC teams face head-on: understanding threats, knowing the full extent of your IT infrastructure, detecting Shadow IT, and correlating known vulnerabilities within your own infrastructure. This solution, natively integrated into our endpoint cybersecurity platform, offers every feature needed to manage an organization’s attack surface and provide complete visibility into potential vulnerabilities across endpoints. Users can now adopt a proactive cybersecurity approach to anticipate and remediate before attacks hit.

Scout consists of three key features:

  • Vulnerability Assessment
    • Enables the detection of vulnerabilities on installed apps and OSes on endpoints to anticipate threats and remediate vulnerabilities before they become breaches.
  • Shadow IT Discovery
    • Identifies endpoints that communicate with unknown or risky systems
    • Detects devices and endpoints on the network that are not protected by HarfangLab
    • Enables control of Shadow IT within an organization
  • Compliance Report (available first half of 2026)
    • Monitor OS versions, applications, and their configuration to ensure alignment with the overall IT security roadmap
    • Provides access to compliance reference models for existing standards such as CIS, NIST, NIS, etc.

This new solution is available on Windows, MacOS, and Linux, via both Cloud and On-Premises deployment. This offer is completely integrated with HarfangLab’s existing EDR and EPP to ensure seamless coverage, from threat prevention to blocking and investigation. Integration into HarfangLab’s endpoint security platform simplifies security processes for organizations and avoids tool sprawl.

Moving from a reactive to proactive security

A 2025 report by CESIN reveals that 47% of attacks experienced by organizations are due to the exploitation of vulnerabilities. Meanwhile, HarfangLab’s latest State of Cybersecurity study found that for 23% of European organizations, vulnerability exploitation is considered their main risk factor. In this fragile context, tools that help teams understand and manage their attack surfaces have become essential to building a resilient cybersecurity strategy.

Securing information systems has grown increasingly complex with the proliferation of endpoints and security tools. According to the 2025 State of Cybersecurity report, 36% of European organizations even identified the growing number of endpoints as a key accelerator of cyber risk. As a result, being able to identify and manage all devices connected to an IT environment is now critical for cybersecurity professionals.

We have been working for years to deliver organizations a cybersecurity platform that enables them to protect their IT through their endpoints. Today, we are proud to add our new Attack Surface Management solution to this very platform. In 2025, we can no longer afford directionless navigation and reactionary cybersecurity. Understanding and mapping the totality of your IT stack can be complex, especially in the face of Shadow IT and endpoint sprawl. Simply adding more traditional protection tools doesn’t help either,” explains Guillaume Ruty, Chief Product Officer at HarfangLab.

Integrating ASM with EDR and EPP inside our platform will enable organizations to anticipate threats, understand the most vulnerable entry points, and to have superior control of their attack surface,” adds Ruty.

Availability

Scout is available starting today for all MSSPs and distributors of HarfangLab. Expect continuous improvements to the product, such as the addition of compliance features starting mid-2026. The solution is integrated into HarfangLab’s single agent and is available as a standalone product or via the HarfangLab platform.

HarfangLab’s complete security platform contains:

  • EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response)
  • EPP (Endpoint Protection Platform)
  • ASM (Attack Surface Management)
