What is HarfangLab AIDR?

HarfangLab AIDR — AI Detection and Response — extends detection and response to AI activity across the modern workspace.

It helps organizations discover, monitor, control, and respond to AI usage across browser-based AI services, coding assistants, and AI agents.

Does AIDR require a new endpoint agent?

No. AIDR uses the same lightweight HarfangLab agent already deployed across the whole organization.

Once the AIDR module is enabled through policy in the HarfangLab console, the agent activates the required AI security capabilities, including the web extension on protected endpoints.

Where can AIDR be deployed?

HarfangLab AIDR can be deployed across the environments organizations already operate, including Cloud, On–Premises, and air–gapped environments.

Does AIDR inspect or store user prompts?

AIDR is designed around local detection and enforcement.

AI security policies are embedded in the endpoint agent, allowing detection and response to be applied directly on the endpoint without requiring sensitive AI activity to be continuously sent to the central manager.

When will AIDR be available?

HarfangLab AIDR is currently available in Beta, with General Availability planned for Q1 2027.
