For the first time, HarfangLab was invited to provide its EDR for the DACHL Team (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg) during the NATO Locked Shields exercises which occur from April 13 to April 24th across the world.
The German Armed Forces identified HarfangLab as a technological partner to hold those strategic exercises. This decision further recognises the quality and relevance of HarfangLab, following its EDR being the first to be certified by the BSI (German Federal Office for information security). Building strong European detection and response capabilities in the face of the most advanced cyberthreats is a priority and HarfangLab’s mission is to take on this responsibility.
The exercise aims at strengthening and enhancing the cyber defense capabilities of participating nations, promoting public, private, and multinational cooperation, and accelerating innovation across the cyber domain. It simulates a realistic, large-scale, live-fire cyber conflict, testing participants’ technical, operational, and strategic capabilities alongside decision-making under pressure. The exercise addresses the protection of vital services and critical infrastructure that are fundamental for modern societies to operate, as well as for maintaining military infrastructure.
All the systems involved reflect authentic risks and real-life scenarios. HarfangLab’s ability to tackle such high-level cyberattacks further demonstrate the company’s commitment to high performance in the cyberthreat landscape of tomorrow.
